Candidates taking the paper exam must complete the Candidate Identification Sheet (CISH) before starting the exam. 7.1 . Examinations for our training courses
PECB Exams, the application we developed to offer online certification exams, is also used to provide certification exams for IAS-accredited PECB certification programs.
The application shares the webcam feed and the candidate’s computer screen, not simultaneously, with the remote online exam proctor at any time during the candidate’s online exam and verification process. The feed is stopped at the end of the exam and the invigilator can no longer access it.
During the verification stage and the online review process, the application takes automatic screenshots every 20 minutes from the stream selected by the supervisor. The remote proctor is also able to take screenshots to verify the candidate’s identity (compare the screenshots with the photos the candidate has provided with the exam profile), and when/if any suspicious activity or behavior going against our exam policy is noticed during the exam process.
Data from the exam application is stored on Amazon S3 Simple Storage Service, and the compartments are encrypted by default with an AES-256 bit encryption key.
Data may only be viewed by authorized LEXTRACTIV INTL. personnel. and IAS request, and are not shared with other parties.
Screenshots and test profiles are kept for 3 years. The exam profile containing your username and profile photo can also be voluntarily deleted from the my PECB dashboard after you have received your exam results.
