Voitures électriques : bientôt des batteries de 1 000 km d’autonomie qui se rechargent en moins de 10 minutes ?

Deux sociétés chinoises ont présenté de nouvelles batteries qui permettraient aux voitures électriques d’atteindre 1 000 km d’autonomie en une seule charge. L’une de ces batteries est même capable de se recharger en moins de 10 minutes.

L’autonomie des voitures électriques ne cesse de s’améliorer avec des véhicules capables de rouler plusieurs centaines de kilomètres en une seule charge. Alors que BMW veut alimenter les voitures électriques grâce aux dos d’âne et aux nids-de-poule, deux sociétés chinoises ont présenté des nouvelles batteries qui promettent 1 000 km d’autonomie. Sera-t-il donc bientôt possible de traverser la France en une seule charge ?

La société chinoise Svolt Energy a présenté une batterie qui offre plus de 1 000 km d’autonomie. La bonne nouvelle est qu’elle arriverait dès la fin de l’année prochaine sur quelques véhicules, à savoir un coupé et un SUV. Nous n’avons cependant pas encore d’informations supplémentaires sur ces véhicules. Un autre fabricant, EVE Lithium Energy, a récemment présenté une nouvelle technologie pour recharger des batteries de 1 000 km d’autonomie en moins de 10 minutes.

Ces batteries de voitures électriques permettraient d’atteindre 850 km d’autonomie sur le cycle WLTP

Svolt Energy a annoncé lors d’un évènement majeur en Chine son nouveau pack batterie surnommé « Dragon Armor Battery ». Les cellules au lithium fer phosphate (LFP) de ce pack permettent une autonomie d’environ 800 km tandis que le pack avec des cellules fer-nickel à haute teneur en manganèse (H-LMFP) promet une autonomie de plus de 900 km. Enfin, le pack batterie avec des cellules à base de nickel, de manganèse et de cobalt peut dépasser plus de 1 000 km d’autonomie.

Il est cependant important de préciser que ces autonomies annoncées sont basées sur le cycle CLTC chinois et non sur le cycle européen WLTP. Avec le cycle WLTP, il faut enlever entre 10 et 15 % d’autonomie. Le pack « Dragon Armor Battery » le plus puissant permettrait donc d’avoir environ 850 km d’autonomie sur le cycle WLTP.

De son côté, le fabricant EVE Lithium Energy a présenté une nouvelle technologie de recharge ultra-rapide pour recharger les batteries de 1 000 km d’autonomie en moins de 10 minutes. Les nouvelles batteries cylindriques d’EVE Lithium Energy proposent entre 500 et 1 000 km d’autonomie basée sur le cycle CLTC avec une seule charge. Elles peuvent se recharger à 100 % en seulement 9 minutes. Nous ne savons pas encore quand ces batteries avec technologie de recharge ultra-rapide seront disponibles sur le marché.
